"The Spiritual Growth Forum” is a great way to get involved in the spirituality of Our Lady of Lourdes parish. Our purpose is to help unite our parishioners as members of this community on a quest to develop a basic personal relationship with Our Savior, Jesus Christ. More specifically, our pastor Fr. Rick Weltin, has charged us with the assignment to host at least one new spiritually formative event or program each month. We encourage parishioners to get involved by brainstorming new ideas with us on our yahoo E-mail group. Parishioners will then meet on an ad hoc basis to plan the events that they are personally interested in. Those who are not ‘computer savvy’ can join in the conversation by offering their suggestions in our “Spiritual Suggestion Box,” located in the “Red Room” of the Church.

No More Meetings!!!

No one has time to add another meeting in their schedule. So we’ve come up with a simple solution. We’re using a “Yahoo Groups” E-mail forum to host our discussions on the Internet. That means, there are no monthly meetings to attend. We can all brainstorm about our ideas at our leisure. It’s easy to participate, and everyone in the parish is invited.

Fr. Rick has asked us to host a new spiritually enriching event each month. The staff and other parishioners are available to help, but our ideas will only become a reality if those who are interested take an active role in these projects.

How It Works
1. Go to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/OLOLspirituality/ 2. Click “Sign-up” 3. Fill out the form to start your new Free Yahoo E-mail account. Your “Primary E-mail address” can be the address that you currently use. 4. Wait on an e-mail response from our moderators, and sign on.
Once we’ve verified that you are a parishioner (and not somebody from Timbuktu) you will start to receive e-mails as the dialogue
develops. However, if you don’t want to be hassled by so many
e-mails, you can still log-on to the above website and read the
newest ideas.
If you do not want to go through all the steps listed above and already have a yahoo account, then you can simply type your current email address in the following box.

If you’re not able or interested in following the discussion on the Internet, you can still share your ideas by putting them in the suggestion box in the Red Room.
We will enter your suggestions into the On-Line conversation, so they will still be your suggestions.
We need people to take an active role in helping to host the events and programs that come out of our community discussion. So please indicate how much you would like to help in making your idea a reality.
